The spa at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, in Los Angeles, is synonymous with luxury; and their new DNA facial takes the top spot for the best facial in town. Created in conjunction with top Beverly Hills Dermatologist, Dr. Ronald Moy, this facial addresses skin on the deepest level – focusing on repairing your skin cells’ DNA.

Rising-up the elevator to the spa from the hotel’s lobby level, you instantly enter a haven of peace and relaxation. Literally. Sometimes people say this and it’s untrue, but the space created here is noteworthy. Every detail from the room’s decor, scent, lighting and energy is looked after by the staff. These details are what make it great, and why you can trust that the facial is going to be memorable.

I was treated by a Brazilian aesthetician who has worked with the spa for years and knows Dr. Moy’s product line inside and out. She explained to me that the facial is based on the science of “DNAEGFRenewal”. This is a product that is derived from non-GMO marine-based plankton and organic barley harvested from Iceland. These ingredients have been found to aid in the preservation of DNA, stimulation of cell renewal and collagen production.

My face was cleansed, deeply, and soon after, my aesthetician went to work. Through a series of product applications, exfoliations and manual tissue manipulations, she toned and tightened my skin. The facial incorporated Dr. Moy’s OxyGeneo+ machine, which performs three skin-rejuvenating actions simultaneously, including: gentle skin exfoliation, infusion of essential revitalizing nutrients and natural skin oxygenation. The key to the machine’s success is the oxygen that is infused in your skin, which leaves it full of life and vibrant afterwards.

The entire process took an hour, and aside from being relaxed, I was glowing. Being someone who is extraordinarily picky with my skin and skincare, I was thrilled to see the results and would return in a heartbeat. But, I will have to do it this year – as this treatment may disappear from the spa’s menu at the end of December. It’s a must for anyone serious about skin and serious about looking your ultimate best. If you’re in Los Angeles, whether a guest at the hotel or not, book an appointment.
