Alabama based menswear designer, Billy Reid, is all about cozy textures and fabrics for AW2014. And, why not? It’s apparent that there’s a way to mix comfort with style – effortlessly. Reid showed his latest collection during New York Fashion Week and wowed the audience at The Highline Hotel. Rich in colors like rust, grey, cream and green – the outerwear was stellar. Think blankets as jackets and wraps – how chic. There were also oversized sweaters, cargo pants, tailored wool trousers in various hughes and printed shirts. Reid’s collection looks like a picture perfect Fall day in the city, walking through Central Park, looking your very best. It’s for the gentleman sophisticate with an urban and gritty edge. Here are my favorites.
