Moving Art With KYE’s “Fash-Graff”

Spraying graffiti on a wall is so, well, permanent. And, once it’s done, you have to leave it – coming back to the same spot to view it over and over again. Doesn’t it make much more sense to wear your art? I’m not the best graffiti artist, but love the look. Korean menswear designer Kathleen Kye has created interesting pieces for her AW2013 collection that feature graffiti on everything from sweatshirts, tees and pants. While in Seoul, Korea, I wore one of the looks during Seoul Fashion Week. I loved this sweatshirt, especially because of its cream and black motif. The sleeves are black latex and overall, it’s very high-fashion street. Love it.
