Postcards From Ireland | The Moss-Covered Forests Of Cong

Walking through the village of Cong, you can see forests stretching out for miles. There are numerous trails that lead you off the beaten path and into an enchanted wonderland of oak, sequoia and more that are covered in moss. The moss grows everywhere. The stones. The tree trunks. The forest floor. it’s like the entire area is covered in a soft and pillowy green. The ground is slightly damp and rivers run wild between the trees – all leading out to the huge Loch Corrib. A walk through these woods is like none other.
