One iconic hotel, The Gleneagles, has remained an integral part of Scotland’s hospitality fabric for over 90 years, and now they are offering a luxury travel accessories collection through their retail arcade and online. The idea for the collection, which includes pieces like travel bags, luggage tags, shoe bags and wallets, came when the hotel wanted to mark their appreciation for the guests who have returned to the hotel, over and over, year after year. The Gleneagles, which opened in the 1920s, wanted guests to be able to take a little piece of the hotel with them through their travels around the world.
The items, many which are made from handcrafted Italian leather, are well designed and thought-through. This is not a usual attempt of a hotel at creating a signature fashion line of their own, but a well-thought-through achievement of craftsmanship and luxury.
Here is a red, cream and blue cotton traveler from designer Thom Browne paired with a cream Gleneagles luggage tag. The piece adds a little extra something to the bag.
