Helsinki is an efficient city. Everything runs as it should, clean, bright and well-kept. The city has a wonderful tram system that will take you from point A to point B in no time flat – perfect for locals and visitors alike. Traversing the streets, whether by foot or by tram, it’s easy to marvel at the stunning architecture and equally stunning people milling about the farmers markets and enjoying the summer in quaint cafes. I decided to go-it by foot in my effort to explore the city. I wore an organic cotton button-down from Finnish label Nurmi’s autumn/winter 2014 collection. I paired it with a pair of silk Prada pants and Marsell leather boots.
