As the warm days fade into the cooler days of autumn, I find it important to take advantage of every last moment. Although layers are fantastic and add more freedom when it comes to fashion experimentation, I love a day when you can throw a great tee on with a pair of jeans. On a recent trip to Oslo, I ran head first into a sunny and warm day. Hovering at just above 70 degrees, it was the perfect weather to put on one of my favorite pair of jeans from Finnish menswear brand, FRENN. The jeans are slim fitting and pre-washed, titled “RUFUS” by the brand. They are enhanced by a clever pocket detail near the thigh. I paired the jeans with a classic black tee made from Bamboo, also by FRENN. This tee feels like silk, is very comfortable and keeps it shape perfectly. The look was completed with a pair of Saint Laurent loafers and a small leather bag by Korean brand, Jehee Sheen.
FRENN is my go-to Scandinavian menswear brand for beautifully made, unique pieces. The clean and architecturally interesting Tjuvholmen neighborhood of Oslo, was the perfect backdrop for this moment.
