In December 2013, I traveled to Quito, Ecuador to interview the incredible mountain climber, Ivan Vallejo. Aside from my interview, I was inspired by the local colors and textiles which can be found in clothing made in the city. I spent an afternoon shooting various looks while meandering around the sky-high city of Quite. I stopped by a beautiful stone cathedral and snapped a photo wearing a pair of colorful patchwork linen pants constructed from vintage Ecuadorian fabric. I paired them with a crisp white oxford by Burberry Prorsum and a locally sourced straw hat. This look was fun and made me feel a part of the local culture.
