Mugler is my muse. The Parisian fashion house has seen its ups and downs and evolutions throughout the years, but I’ve always remained intrigued. On a quiet Sunday morning, I took a stroll around the 8th and set my sites on devouring a plate full of pastries before my impending flight back to New York. I’m sorry. I’m American, and we just don’t have access to these incredible delicacies – even in Manhattan. I walked through the streets in search of my last pâtisserie encounter. I hoped to look skinny understanding that my premeditated pastry binge would immediately make me feel not so. With this in mind, I wore my most “lengthening” and silhouette enhancing ensemble – Givenchy pants, a Burberry Prorsum shirt and my favorite Mugler overcoat with chrome hardware. The sunglasses are by Italian brand, Super, and were provided by Ilori Eyewear Boutique in New York City. My plan worked and I felt a little less guilty that day with each mirror that I passed.
