I know, I know. You can’t get any more cliche than going to Paris and taking pictures around the Eiffel Tower. But, when it’s so magical, and when you’re in the area, how can you not? I wandered around near the River Seine and Le Palais Tokyo to admire the tower which was erected in 1889. As I stared at it, I thought over the fact that it is one of the world’s most recognizable structures and the most visited in the world as a tourist attraction. I couldn’t help but be mesmerized, all over again. As many times as I’ve stood before it – It always gives me a happy feeling inside. I was heading to lunch just after my visit to Monsieur Eiffel, so I was ready with Givenchy slacks, a Prada button-down, a Comme des Garçons wool blazer and frames by Matsuda – provided by Ilori Eyewear Boutique in New York City. I don’t care what anyone says, the Eiffel Tower will always have a place in my heart.
