I get so excited by the colors of Ecuador. Every building is covered in splashes of blue, red and yellow. Whitewashed walls with a smoky filter make for a vintage and naturally antiqued backdrop. Throughout Quito’s markets, you can find handmade fabrics and pieces that are perfect for the occasion of visiting this capital. I found these pants at Mercado Artesenal (Artesian Market) which were made from woven silk and cotton. My shirt is Prada and the Panama hat was purchased on the street and is made of local palms. Shopping here is never dull.
