In the small restaurant at Hotel des Galeries in Brussels, Belgium – the highly designed space sits awaiting guests for lunch. I stopped-in recently before meeting a friend to have a little fun with the camera. I love the angular and minimalist furniture you see scattered around the space. Designers Fleur Delesalle and Camille Flammarion did an incredible job mixing textures and colors for a truly modern Belgian experience.
I was inspired by the bits of color and thought my colorful ensemble was perfect. The entire look is from Walter Van Beirendonck’s autumn/winter 2014 collection. A wool sweater depicting Mr. Van Beirendonck’s face and signature beard was fun and lively. The pants, oh so comfortable, are a melange of fabrics and prints – including floral fringe. The leather high-tops felt like clouds on my feet. What a fun afternoon.
