My Threads: Ajuma Nasenyana

It was perfect weather in Nairobi. Not too hot and not too cold. I conducted my interview with model Ajuma Nasenyana by the pool at The Tribe Hotel. Obviously, I wanted to wear local designers, so, Kenya represent. My shirt is a colorful patterned oxford by Nairobi based label, Blackbird. My pants are white linen by Nick Ondu, a young fashion talent who focuses on working with light fabrics and local patterns. My sunglasses are by Oliver Peoples and were provided by Ilori eyewear boutique in Soho, New York City. It was fun, a little loud and perfect for a mid-afternoon chat.
