There’s nothing more beautiful to me than seeing expert craftsmen and craftswomen working with their hands. And, luckily, I was able to see this while visiting a small village in the middle of the Maasai Mara in Kenya. The women of the community, for centuries, have been responsible for making beautiful, symbolic bracelets, amulets, necklaces, headpieces and other accessories from bone, beads and metal. I was able to attend a market and purchase a few things for myself. The detail is extraordinary and the vibrant colors are magical.
