Finland is an emerging capital for fashion. And, there are a handful of designers making waves both locally and on the international fashion scene. One of my favorites is Frenn. Frenn is led by two men, Jarkko Kallio and Antti Laitinen. They make modern, comfortable and easy menswear that not only looks good, but is made with the finest materials. You can pack most of their items during trips across the globe, and not worry about them losing shape and structure. I recently shot with one of my favorite pieces in the West Village of New York City. The pale grey wool coat is light and perfect for fall or spring. It sat perfectly over an asymmetrical oxford by Australian brand “The Only Son”. I paired the coat with a pair of skinny black wool and silk trousers by Givenchy and Y-3 pebbled leather sneakers.
