Stubbs and Wootton has to be one of my favorite shoe brands on the luxury market. Catering to both men and women, with stores in New York City and Palm Beach, “Stubbs”, as they’re affectionately known, offers handmade footwear with quirky and fun designs that can take you from day to evening – effortlessly.
On a recent trip to French Polynesia I needed something that could be worn in the heat, throughout the day, and dressed-up for a formal dinner aboard a luxury cruise line. When you’re on holiday and want to look equally as good during the day as you do a night, it’s difficult to find something that can seamlessly transition. Stubbs and Wootton’s handmade shoes can do just that.
I brought two pair with me on my trip, one solid – the “Raffia Black” style, and the “Bumble Bee”, a fun patterned option that could be thrown-on with a pair of shorts for shopping in Bora Bora or worn in the evening at Le Casino aboard the ship.
Not only are the shoes easy to pack and comfortable, but they make a statement. The quality and design are the focus of the brand and it shows in every detail of the shoe’s fabrication.
