Chef Maria Loi is a renowned chef in Greece and she’s now taking America by storm with her restaurants, cook books and product line recently entering Whole Foods Market. A natural pioneer in the world of food and cooking, she is helping to redefine Greek cuisine for Americans and making strong statements about the importance of eating “well”. I sat down with her at her restaurant in New York City, Loi Estiatorio, to hear about her life, philosophy and journey to the American market. She also shares some of her favorite recipes from her new book, “The Greek Diet”.
