French perfumer Frédéric Malle is one of the world’s most respected scent masters. He comes from a family deeply entrenched in the industry and grew up in Paris around some of the most influential people in fashion. After working as a fragrance consultant for years he created his own brand, Frédéric Malle Editions de Parfums, and decided to do things his way. Taking action on his uneasy feelings about how other perfumers had been treated in the industry, he changed the way people saw those behind some of the world’s most famous fragrances.
