Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, British Columbia is one place that is essential for any visitor to see when in the area. This huge chunk of green land in the middle of town is bordered by water and filled with trees of many varieties, lakes, ponds, peacocks, goats, ravines and more. The diversity here is amazing and it’s truly remarkable to see a city that has worked so hard to preserve it. You can bring children to the petting zoo or have a picnic in the grass with swans and ducks wandering about. It’s a “must visit”.
