Etnia Barcelona, the incredible eyewear brand founded on the promise that every one of their products would be handcrafted and relay a feeling of luxury and style to their wearer, is one of my favorite brands for sunglasses in the world.
On a recent trip to French Polynesia, I was able to take a few pairs with me that would allow the ability to play around with my look on the ten-day trip. A few of my favorite styles they offer, some that I brought with in my carry-on, include the Avinyo, Mission District, Montauk and Verdi.
What I love about this brand is their commitment to innovation. They offer core styles to customers, but are always introducing new forms, patterns and colors to their collections – including limited edition collaborations with well-known artists. The price point is excellent for such a well-made frame – starting at around $250. And, they wear very well – even through long exposure to the elements.
